Who are we?

Sonder Social is a one-stop shop and curated gifting service for all things ethical and sustainable with Asia Pacific impact. We are a social enterprise, founded on the word ‘Sonder’, which represents the realisation of our shared complexities and experiences that connects us.

The idea was born out of a shared passion to foster positive impact through a conscious consumer lifestyle. Our journeys around Asia Pacific have introduced us to the growing impact-driven enterprises that care beyond profit, and we want to nurture in everyone mindful shopping habits that give back to the community.

Our tagline ‘Seriously Conscious’ recognises that making mindful choices is about exploring a lifestyle that strikes a balance.

How do we work?

We work with a network of socially conscious brands and connect them to the growing new generation of shoppers who care beyond labels. Working with over 30 social enterprises from around the world, we actively vocalise their impact stories and products, so as to encourage shoppers to purchase with purpose.

You can purchase items for yourself, curate your own box to gift someone, or advocate for social procurement with your organisation and company.

What is "Personal Gifting"?

Personal Gifting are the gifts you purchase for yourself, your friends, your families, and loved ones.

How do you pack my gift?

So you’ve done your part by shopping consciously? Then it’s now our turn to make sure the full experience is equally socially conscious! Depending on the gift service you’ve chosen, we use different packaging for delivery. Check it out:

Gift Yourself

Your conscious goodies will be shipped in our compostable mailer bags made from plant materials. If your items are fragile, we may ship them in used boxes to minimise new packaging. On the rare occasion, you’ll probably get hold of our signature kraft box! We also cushion your gifts with rescued shredded papers to skip new materials! Every gift comes with an introductory card and a story card on the item gifted, all printed on FSC certified papers.

Gifts To Go

Your conscious goodies will be shipped in our signature kraft boxes, cushioned with rescued shredded papers, and luxuriously paper-wrapped with a sticker closure. Every gift comes with a collection gift card and a story card on items gifted, all printed on FSC certified papers.

Build Your Gift

Your conscious goodies will be shipped in our signature kraft boxes, cushioned with rescued shredded papers, and luxuriously paper-wrapped with a sticker closure. Every gift comes with your chosen gift card and a story card on all items gifted, all printed on FSC certified papers.

Yes, we do! We ship worldwide so you can get your #SeriouslyConscious gifts wherever you or the person you are gifting it to are!

We offer free shipping to Singapore for purchases above S$70. For orders below S$70 and international orders, we offer shipping fees that are weight dependent.

How long does it take for my gift to reach its new home?

Your gift will take 2 to 3 working days to reach Singapore homes, and 10 to 18 working days to reach other homes.

I'm changing my mind on my purchase, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Your support means a lot to the community and cause you’ve chosen to support, and we hope you can create a home for your new conscious goodies. 

I think my item is damaged, can I get an exchange?

Many sustainable brands produce handmade products that will not mirror the perfection of factory production. Not all items will look the same, and they are subject to slight variations.

While all sales are final and we do not allow returns or exchanges of products, we know there are exceptions and you may have received a damaged product. If this happens to you, please contact us at hello@sondersocial.com within two (2) weeks of receiving your order. We may offer any refunds or replacements solely in our discretion.
